Basic 8 Creative was born in 2005 when Jason Fuges, Principal + Creative Director, left his position as Art Director of the Tony award-winning Berkeley Rep Theatre. That spring, Fuges built a design studio that would allow him to blend the artistic and practical strengths of his most talented friends and colleagues—the ‘Basic 8’.A decade later, members of Basic 8 Creative deliver talent and professional experience to clients across the country and around the world, spanning the fields of digital + print design, video production, and event production. Ego-free and committed to extraordinary service, Basic 8 Creative considers each client’s needs individually, pulling in members who can elevate specific elements of each project.
